Please arrive for 9.30am ready for a 9.35 getaway!
Wear jogging bottoms or running tights, trainers and a couple of light layers on top.
Classes run even in the rain, so please come with a waterproof!
Power Walking
A Low impact alternative to jogging - Beware, this is no walk in the park!
Each session lasts 1hr and consists of a fast tempo walk with light handweights, covering approximately 3miles with stops along the way for body toning exercises. Every power walk finishes back at the village hall for a cool down stretch and well needed bottle of water.
Most power walkers really notice that they have worked their thighs and glutes (bottom) after just one session and are aware their fitness levels increasing after just a few weeks of attending the class.
Come to one or both of the weekly sessions depending on your free time. Its a fantastic way to see the local countryside, meet new people, and of course .. exercise!
Classes run every week on Tuesdays and Fridays (during term time) @ 9.35am.
Starting at: Beckington Village Hall Car Park, Bath Road, Beckington.

I look forward to power walking every week for an hour of high speed walking, with as much talking! I have been coming along for several years now, met some great people, and Kirsty always springs new exercises on us to challenge both our bodies and brains to keep us on our toes. Come rain or shine we laugh while we keep fit and i can think of nothing better to end the week on! Lucy
